Cable wakeboarding is an extreme watersport that's becoming more and more popular all around the globe. It all started out with Rixen, a German inventer. In the 70's Rixen created an electrical cable system that would drag up to eight wakeboarders on the water. Cable wakeboarding was born!
Wakeboarden.org is created by wakeboarders, for wakeboarders. The website started out as a local meetingplace for a Dutch group of wakejunkies, to talk about the sport when there's no riding going on. Now we are taking it to the next level and it's the place to be for cable wakeboarding, where wakejunkies all around the world can meet and share our international passion!
